- 1947 through 1967, coached Swarthmore High School lacrosse team
- Started Club Lacrosse (Swarthmore Tomahawks) in 1952
- Taught the game to many who would go on to make great contributions to the game
- Awarded "Andrew Kirkpatrick Memorial Award" by U.S. Lacrosse Association for his efforts as an official
- One of the founders of Philadelphia Suburban Lacrosse League in 1957
